Marcin Malinowski's Page

I was born and raised in Gdynia, Poland - a port city on the Baltic Sea. I finished my education there (music, among others) and started to work as a professional musician; I have played with different bands, completed several solo projects and participated in musical stage productions, in Poland and abroad. In 2001 I moved to Warsaw. Here I work as session musician, arranger & composer in addition to my own individual/solo projects. 2004 saw the start of The MITOTE BAND, a platform that will allow me to mix many different components that have influenced my work. In 2007 I joined The NIECHEC-Dislike (experimental jazz project), appearing at several Warsaw's clubs. The same year saw the start of collaborations with: Maciej Ostromecki (THE PRANK) and Mr. Freedom Lawrence (ONE SPIRIT). I also participate in DENIZ ATALAY's project. I AM CURRENTLY SHOPPING FOR A SUITABLE LABEL TO RELEASE THESE SOUNDS. I also perform on stage with various musical combos playing different genres: jazz, fusion, hip - hop, musicals etc.
